Las Gaviotas has beautifully maintained grounds and gardens with groundskeepers working daily to keep the bougainvillea, hibiscus, trees and the many roses in tiptop condition for the enjoyment of all. The heated Olympic-size pool and adjacent Jacuzzi as well as two shuffleboard courts, are in front of the clubhouse with an incredible view of the coast. A private lighted tennis court is available for tennis buffs, along with a new putting green and children's playground. |

A flagstone path meanders along the shoreline and around the property from which to enjoy the surf and sunsets. Once around the resort equals a mile. Another path leads to the private beach complete with beach volleyball court and Palapas to get out of the sun while watching the players and surfers. |

The
“point at Las Gaviotas“ was a magnet that drew early Southern California
surfers to the area. They considered it “one of the best surfing spots in
Baja”. Although now privately owned, “surf’s up” still calls to surfers of
all ages and skills. Nature lovers and children enjoy the sandy beach,
tide pools, and the sandstone bluffs carved into amazing shapes by the
sea. Doesn’t it all sound wonderful? And the very best part is that Las Gaviotas is just 40 minutes south of the U.S. border, 10 minutes south of
Rosarito Beach, and 45 minutes north of Ensenada all on Scenic Road #1.

|
Casa Serenidad has a beautifully
landscaped terrace extending the length of the house. The sparkling
lights of the coastline at night make for enchanting evenings. Sit out
in the morning with coffee and you may see pelicans, seagulls, whales
and dolphins. Enjoy wondrous sunsets with plenty of
room for dining al fresco or “tripping the light fantastic” should the
mood strike. Be our guest and lounge in the sun with margaritas or
broil steaks on the gas barbecue with a glass of good wine.

The kitchen is well appointed with
service for eight and enough cooking utensils to satisfy Emeril Lagasse.
The kitchen also has a dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, and programmable
coffee maker. The great room has a dining table seating eight, a fireplace, and a color
television with DVD player, DVD library and comfortable seating. And
we have just added a New Direct TV Satellite system with Tivo and
Vonage phone service for free calls to the United States and Canada.

And one of our favorite dining
experiences, "La Fonda" (10 miles south). "Calafia’s" tiered dining
terraces are fantastic and show you a magnificent expanse of sea and
coastline while you eat. No one should miss “Cha Cha’s” for
breakfast, lunch and local gossip (first signal light north of
Gaviotas). Another must is "Ortega’s" in Puerto Nuevo (Lobster Town)
just 6 miles south.
